When we first laid eyes on these wondrous plates, LZ knew they were something special we had to have. Made in Senegal, West Africa, the words and drawings on each plate are delicately drawn in ink on the reverse side of transparent glass, then placed in the sun to dry. It’s a very delicate job that requires the intense concentration of expert artisans. We love the idea of using these for a colorful Cinco de Mayo party, Easter breakfast or quaint date-night at home. They also make for a sweet wedding, birthday or anniversary gift!
